Run openshift locally with minishift

Opensource technologies such as container-centric technologies like Docker, kubernetes, openshift are evolving rapidly. DevOps is leading its way to build, ship, run, deploy an application easily for developers. Openshift-origin is a distribution of kubernetes for continuous application development. Kubernetes adds tools for developers on the top of openshift. And team can deploy applications on large scale for long term.
With the help of minishift we can run openshift on our local machine. Minishift lets you run single node openshift cluster inside virtual machine. You can develope applications daily by your local host with the help of minishift.
This session aims to introduce minishift. Also how can developers deploy application by using single node openshift cluster using minishift.
This session will cover:
1. What is kubernetes?
2. What is minishift and openshift?
3. Installation of minishift
4. Get started with minishift
5. Deploying an application with minishift
1.A laptop which has Fedora (version 26 or 27) installed on base machine.
2.A hypervisor KVM should be installed and enabled on fedora.
I am an opensource enthusiast. I am final year student of computer science engineering. I am selected as official Docker Campus Ambassador. I have taken a meetup on Docker before. I have done 5 certifications of red hat namely RHCSA, RHCE, CL210(cloud OpenStack administrator), CL310(cloud OpenStack engineer), RH270(Docker) and I’m currently pursuing openshift training. I am also familiar with minikube, kubernetes and minikube. I am doing projects in opensource technologies.
